CANCOM and WMC enter into partnership for information security and data protection with QSEC®

  • WMC’s workflow-supported software solution QSEC® complements CANCOM’s IT security portfolio
  • In addition to the data protection software, CANCOM supports its customers during implementation
  • Customers benefit from added value in information security and data protection

CANCOM has gained a new partner for information security and data protection in WMC, one of the leading providers of information security systems. Thanks to the cooperation, companies can obtain WMC’s GRC, ISMS and data protection software QSEC® directly from CANCOM. In addition, CANCOM advises on implementing the solution in the IT environment.

Current trends such as cloud computing, the digitalization of products and services, the number of end devices in use, or the automation of business processes reveal security holes in many companies and expose them to attacks by cybercriminals. With increasing digitization, the requirements for information security and data protection grow. The degree of complexity is increasing when it comes to developing and implementing sensible concepts for occuring risks.

CANCOM provides its customers with a comprehensive range of services and solutions that cover the entire IT security needs of companies. The workflow-supported software solution QSEC® from WMC complements the portfolio in the area of information security according to ISO 27001, IT basic and data protection according to GDPR of the EU.

“With CANCOM, we were able to gain an internationally recognized partner for the marketing of QSEC®, whose know-how in the implementation and realization of international projects optimally complements the performance of our software solution QSEC®. With this expertise, we can jointly provide our customers with optimal support in solving their requirements,” says Werner Wüpper, Managing Director of WMC GmbH.

QSEC® is a GRC, ISMS and data protection software that offers the added value of complementing a wide range of norms and standards and expanding them into an integrated management system (IMS or ICS).  All compliance, risk management, and information and data protection issues can be implemented sustainably and in a resource-saving manner with QSEC®, even in large organizations. By operating QSEC®, companies meet all information security and data protection requirements holistically, resource-optimized and audit-proof.

“As a system integrator, we simplify IT for our customers, making it secure and manageable. QSEC® is a solution that is convincing in terms of scalability as a single-source tool and supports the spread of a uniform understanding of processes. The system functions as a central platform in which all business processes are documented. This enables us to offer our customers decisive added value in information security and data protection,” says Daniel Graßer, Director Competence Center Security, CANCOM SE.
